Q: How many Titan RS receivers can a Titan RS transmitter control?
A: There is no system limit on the number of receivers that can be controlled by a transmitter. Any receivers within range of the transmitter, coded to accept the specific transmitter signal, will be activated.

Q: How many Titan RS transmitter codes can a Titan RS receiver hold?
A: Receivers have a capacity to store coding for up to twelve specific independent transmitter codes.

Q: Titan RS transmitters have a 70m range in open space, how is this range affected by enclosed spaces?
A: The transmitter range will be reduced by solid objects particularly solid metal or brick walls. The range reduction will vary according to the thickness of the obstruction. If obstructions exist always set up and test transmitters and receivers before final installation.

Q: My neighbour already has a Titan RS security system installed is interference a problem?
A: No. Titan RS Transmitters have millions of individual code combinations. Titan RS Receivers will only respond to specific transmitter codes stored in memory.

Q: Can I mount Titan RS products onto a metal surface?
A: Mounting Titan RS products onto a metal surface will reduce signal strength. It may be necessary to use non conductive spacers between the Titan RS product and the metal surface to achieve the best results.

Q: What is the battery life on battery operated Titan RS products?
A: Battery life will depend entirely on the number of triggers received. Under normal usage at 20^oC you can expect a life span of at least a thousand triggers from a new set of appropriate Alkaline / Lithium batteries. System critical products such as the TRS22TX Wireless PIR Detector, TRS24TX Remote Switch and TRS25TX Magnetic Contact Transmitter have LED indicators that will flash when the batteries are low.

Q: Can I fit a lamp of lower rating to the Titan RS 300W Floodlights. E.g. Can I fit a 150w lamp?
A: Yes you can. Obviously the lamp must be the same physical size in this case 118mm long.

Q: Are Titan RS 300w Floodlights compatible with the new building regulations?
A: Yes Titan RS 300w Floodlights are compatible with the new  Building Regulations. Simply fit a 150w TH lamp as per Building Regulations: L1A Clause 45.
